Shahbaz Qamar Fareedi is undoubtedly one of the leading present Sana Khwans around the world. He is loved across the world for his melodious voice and his unique style of reciting Naat Sharif to express the love of our Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
Shahbaz Qamar Fareedi’s talent was recognised and brought forward to the public at a very little age. Many competitions arranged during his student life, he had won the 1st position. He has also participated in national competitions in Pakistan where he had also won the 1st prize. During a Competition arranged by Habib Bank Ltd Shahbaz Qamar Fareedi was given the title of Bulbul-e-Pakistan (Voice of Pakistan)
In a recent interview Shahbaz Qamar Fareedi said that his Ustaad (teachers) in the field are ‘Sher Ali and Mehr Ali’ the great Qawwals of the Sub Continent. He has also expressed on a few occasions that he has been inspired with the talent of Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan and has implemented his style in the Naat Khwani field.
Shahbaz Qamar Fareedi has toured across the globe to many different countries to recite the Holy Naat Sharif. He has travelled to:

o Saudi Arabia
Many fans from the United States, Canada and Spain have requested Shahbaz Qamar Fareedi to tour in their countries, but due to his busy schedule this has been delayed until 2009. He has been touring UK for over 12 years and has enjoyed visitng the country every year. His main tour of the UK is during the blessed month of Rabbi Ul Awwal Sharif. His tour is managed by the International Naat Association.
There are millions of fans of Shahbaz Qamar Fareedi worldwide who deeply admire his style of reciting naat Sharif and have adopted his style. In current naat Competitions it is evident that most of the naat Sharif’s recited by candidates are actually read by Shahbaz Qamar Fareedi.
Shahbaz Qamar Fareedi is married and is blessed 3 children. He has two sons and one daughter. All three of them have been inspired from their father and are following their father’s foot step. Mohammad Usman, Mohammad Ali, Fiza Qamar are three names of his children. Mohammad Usman is doing really well both with his education and the recitation of Naat Sharif. He achieved 2nd position in the whole of Punjab for his academic exams and has achieved 1st position for Naat Khwani on many occasions in Pakpatan.
In the coming years Shahbaz Qamar Fareedi will be launching a \'Naat Academy\' where he will be giving training to students on how to become a professional Naatkhwan and what rules and guidlines need to be adhered to at all times in this profession. This is a big step for him as this iswhere he will step up the ladder from being a junior to a senior Naatkhwan. He mentioned once that he needs everyones prayers behind this good cause. At the moment a lot of junior Naatkhwans are requesting Shahbaz Qamar Fareedi to be there teacher but he is currently not taking on this oppurtunity himself due to busy schedule and other commitments in life.
Shahbaz Qamar Fareedi is a member of the Jashn-e-Fareed commitee who arganise an annual Mehfil-e-Naat in Pakpatan at the holy shrine of Baba Fareed. All Famous Naat Khwans from Pakistan including Owais Qadri, Yousuf Memon, Farhan Qadri, Abdur Raoof Roofi attend this program. This mehfil has a special segment at the end where dontation is given straight in to the hands of the poor. People donate sewing machines, motorbikes, food and much more to the poor in this program.
Shahbaz Qamar Fraeedi has been touring the UK for over 12 years and has enjoyed spending most of his time time during Rabi Ul Awwal in the UK. His program schedule during this holy month is organised and managed by the International Naat Association (INA) which has been established for over a decade. He has a very busy schedule during this time in the UK.
